Game should pause when minimized

I was playing a HC SSF character when the game was force minimized by another application that took a while to start on my computer.

First, the game should not allow itself to be minimized.

Second, the game should pause itself when minimized.

Otherwise you can lose a HC character at any time.

The game frequently minimizes itself during gameplay, it can't just let the game continue while minimized, this is ridiculous design.
