Dying easily in maps level 80+

Here is my character: https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/NASNOONAK-1722/character/WIL_SON

I just started playing this game and recently reached maps around level 80+.
I die quite often and I’m not sure if this is normal or if my build is just bad. Can you guys give me an advice :D

Game starts to get harder to progress at that point if your build isn't strong. If you put that together on your first go without following a guide looks like you've done pretty well.

I would say you probably want more ES, if you could get upto 5k would probably help. How much you leech will be based off that number. Your tree looks to be getting a bit inefficient up the top, where it looks like you might be trying to do something. You have some defenses, but you need more of everything you are getting. ES, Spell suppress, evasion. Capping spell suppress should be possible on your tree. Use lucky suppress mastery if you are not capped on suppress, it will give a massive boost. Lightning resistance looks not capped on the pob, if that is correct, make sure it is capped. Looks like you don't have quality on your chest piece, pretty important for trickster, that alone should help a fair bit. Just putting qual on those items will give you about 15% more EHP. There's also a lot of other trimmings you are not using, amulet anointment, and eldritch mods on rare armor. True strike or Divine judgment might be good options that are cheap. If you are thinking of upgrading any items, you might want to do that first, but having these things all adds up. Your items are all okay, but also all would need to be upgraded at some point. Probably the main one I would be concerned about is the weapon. Ghost dance might also be helpful, particularly if you get more evasion. Void barier cluster might also be good, since you are using ES, suppression and evasion, Vaal grace might be helpful. Grace would also be helpful, but if you cant fit it in, you can use the vaal grace without reserving the grace aura.

Also wondering if you are having any problem with getting stunned? If that is happening, you might need to get some form of stun protection. Maybe ES mastery, 50% ES to stun threshold. Depends how you are dying though, it may not be a problem.

For offense, you want to be looking at getting on a 6-link or at least a 5. You can probably get some more useful masteries as well, that will help with polymath. Quality on your gems where it will help. You have a fair bit of free sockets, so you might be able to find some other useful skills.

I would suggest follow, or at least have open to compare, a known creators build for the skill you want to play.

Looks like you are a frost blade Trickster.

Heres a Capt Lance vid from 2 years ago on such a build.

Biggest thing when your new is don't compare yourself to others who have 10,000 hours into the game. Just have fun and focus on learning new things one step at a time. Biggest advice I ever got back in the day was to try not to over set goals on doing things and instead just focus on how much time played. Like set an amount you want to play in a day instead of trying to get xyz level in a day. When your new it's best to just have fun and learn and when you hit a brick wall spend a tiny bit of time trying to understand it then reroll or farm in lower zones till you can afford to fix it with items / regret orbs.

Like other said find a guide or build to follow and possibly find a person to be your role model to learn from. I would suggest looking for build guides from hardcore players as they will be the cheapest and less likely to be bait.

It's also pretty normal to hit a wall at around level 90 because you die and lose xp more then you gain meaning you stop leveling. I don't really have an easy answer to fix this but having a more hc viable build helps.
