Hive Fungus Behemoth stuck behind mushrooms
|
The Fungus Behemoth boss teleports behind the mushrooms and gets stuck making it much harder to kill because of the dot ground effect from the mushrooms. Have had it happen 4 out of 5 fights with it.

Yes, the problem I think is that the room he spawns in is too small and inconsistent with his normal behavior, which is to teleport around a large area.

Happened to me too, but as a ranged character I don't complain, was a freebie :)

Yeah, I've hit him twice. Both times did the same thing. Starts in middle, warps to corner, dances around like hes lagging. Finally a bug in my favor. I think there is a bug with the direction of the map as well. His corner was in the bottom of my screen and the outsides/top of the cave looked unfinished. This orientation behavior happens a lot on bosses. If you die, it'll change. There seems to be a habit of this kind of lack of idea completion. Lets allow bosses to spawn in the cave we made for the hyena boss! Cool yeah! Devs can you make that happen?! Sure. Devs do nothing but enable the boss within the area. No testing- obviously, they would've caught this instantly. No one actually fought the boss or just had the boss run his routine. Actual cowboy coding. I mean, they changed the mushroom locations, i don't get it. Its seriously like they farm out their programming. They tell them to do something, and they do it very literally- they only do what they are told, they don't actually think it through for themselves and ask questions. [Removed by Support] This clearly was not someones best effort. It doesn't belong in this level of a game. Company is trolling. Early access, I get it- but come on. We need something to test, and this isn't the kind of stuff we should actually be testing. They've been doing this for 15 years, there are standards and processes.
