Melee skills on rails because of auto targeting/pathing
Why can't (movement) melee skills just work as described in their tooltips?
Dash forward and attack. Dash forward and attack. Dash forward and attack. Please GGG, you did it right in POE 1, why can't you work it out in POE 2 ? Please, I want to play the game and have fun - this auto targeting and the pathing calculations destroy the immersion and just take too long. Almost every spear melee skill is in a very bad place because of this. My ping is usually at about 20-40ms, yet sometimes it takes half a sec+ for a skill to resolve itself. Rake -> pathing is abysmal: Sometimes you dash past half of the screen, most of the time you walk a few steps and tip the enemy on the shoulder. It's just so inconsistent. Blood Hunt and Cull the weak -> sometimes takes forever to attack. Stand next to a mob, start the attack and wait for what feels like seconds. Usually the dash part works only from extra close - But once my Alt dashed past packs of mobs to what felt like the furthest enemy at the other end of the screen. not really a fan of the varying attack times either. hope when they add daggers and swords they don't have any insane movement attached to the skills
