I apologize for being so hypercritical

I've been very mouthy this league. Thankfully for me, nobody cares what I say. But still, I've been having a hard time most of the league so I've been freaking out often on my streams and in chats/discord. I've had a chance to calm down now so I can give real critique instead of just angry bs.

This league has been pain. Abyss modifiers have to be the most ambiguous effects ever conceived. I can't see which is which, I usually have to ignore them because I'll just die from distraction trying to figure that out. I find out when the enemy stops taking damage inside that cloud thing. Those guys are terrible, they love to get stuck between the wall and abyss holes, so they never leave the invincible cloud and you can't really get to them with range because your shots are blocked by the abyss holes. Don't even get me started on regen life.

Next thing, why are map bosses deadlier than pinnacles? If I'm walking into a map with 10k ES, 50% EV, Deflection, capped ELI res, CI, and thresholds to the moon, I shouldn't be getting one tapped by a boss. And yet last night ended with a streak of map boss deaths, and it's been consistent since the patch. I'm fine with them being tanky so we have to engage, I like that. But they're just doing too much damage, especially at the end when you guys like to fill the entire arena with death and give not even a microsecond to do anything besides die. This is why players make ridiculous damage builds, we have no choice. You make it impossible to survive the game no matter how much survivability we stack. So we have no choice but to stack damage and delete. You guys cause this very problem you have complained about. We can only work within the systems you make.

Finally, I understand why the quant nerf. You're trying to keep the most lifeless among us from completely cornering and controlling the market. Understandable. But I'd like to point out that, like botters cheaters and RMTers, you can only ever expect to limit the mega blasters. You'll never stop them unless you just toss the game. But you probably did succeed in limiting them like you intended. However, those same guys are always going to find a way to make large amounts of currency no matter what is tweaked or changed. But what about intermediate and low level players? I'm still learning how to do this right. I didn't have the time and resources to slam 100 towers like a lot of these guys. So they're off getting double mega juice rich getting richer, meanwhile people like me got a turbo nerf poor getting poorer. Can you see how you both succeeded, and simultaneously also resulted in the opposite outcome simultaneously?

Those are the main gripes I've got. I do like the changes to towers and tablets themselves, but quant shouldn't be nerfed as hard as you did next league. I honestly don't understand the general feeling I get across the game, where you guys are spending so much time and effort to make the game and us feel bad whenever you can. Sometimes it feels fun, exciting even. But usually it's just annoying and makes me question why I'm spending so much time on a game that seems like it wants me to feel pain whenever possible. Please chill out even just a little bit on the boss damage. I'm pretty good for a noob and persistent as hell, so Joe Dadof10 is getting absolutely ass blasted and probably quit weeks ago.

Make more Hinekora monkey bosses, he is fun best boss 10/10 would fight every day.

1. abyss mobs require patience for most classes other than zoomy zoom dead eye (probably spark too). They want the game slower, so they put in mega dangerous things to slow you down. They are overtuned though.

2. Not all pinnacles have been released, this is an EA game. There's more to come. Also, the pinnacle trees are required to make the most of your maps from the points they give towards your atlas. How bad would it feel if you couldn't juice your maps because the pinnacle content is so out of reach?

3. The quant nerf is to balance the couch gamers and the sweaty nerd streamers. This should improve loot overall - the cost is less random tinks in favor of more consistent tinks over time.

Idk why everyone loves to gaslight people with legitimate criticisms.

While I've figured out the abyss mechanics, you're right, they're not clear, and many just blast you before you know what happened. I really hate seeing them in boss arenas too, that just seems like a lazy oversight at best, or a really bad decision at worst.

There's like 95% to love with PoE2 but some tuning and poorly communicated mechanics, modifiers, on ground effects clutter, etc, really bring things down a peg or two.

Yeah, this community is actually pretty terrible. It only takes a couple minutes of reading posts.

So many people are trying to measure their dicks with a game that isn't even pvp. Its actually bonkers.

Be nice if everyone could calm down and actually focus on not flaming the fuck out of each other. Its out of hand. However, it is the internet, so this is nothing new.
