The changes in 0.3.1 made it worse if you play solo
When you play in a party, item quantity increases to compensate for the extra players, which completely fine.
The problem is that solo players are now at a much bigger disadvantage compared to party players. This was already the case before patch 0.3.1, but the gap has grown even wider since then. Solo players can no longer reach the same quantity levels they used to, while parties naturally get those benefits. Essentially, the system is designed to reward party play, which is fine in theory, but in practice it makes solo play feel more punishing. Theres now a bigger gap between the efficiency and loot potential of parties versus solo players, which risks driving players who prefer to paly solo away from the game. What makes this even worse is that most parties arent "true" parties. They consist of one person killing the monsters and one person being the rarity bot, while the rest just leech XP. That is a simple abuse of the party system. Last bumped on Oct 6, 2025, 5:54:46 AM

Have to disagree.
Maybe it made it worse in terms of divs/day (and I'm not sure if that's true), but partying has always been optimal for that, and I don't think there's any point in changing that. The fun for those people is finding the optimal strategy to be more productive, and partying is that. However, in terms of enjoying the game as a solo player, the game has become more fun, because we have become less dependent on tower arrangements based on RNG. |

" I agree that the removal of towers in terms of juicing maps is good, but what i mean is the gap between party and solo grew wider. Parties now get proportionally more rewards compared to before 0.3.1 in comparison to solo players. |

" Now its RNG if you find super rare: +2 map mods tablet +1 rogue exile I think it was better to depend on RNG on your own atlas than on drop RNG of 10 divine each tablet. And for casual player its better to sell tablet for 10 divines and play maps without loot. 3-4 towers and 5-6 quant tablets setups were accesible for avarage player, now 30 divines setups are not accesible |

" To add to this Parties reduce rng dependence, because of higher quantity numbers. For a solo player to have the same effect you need to run more maps which takes longer. Around 5 times as long if its a linear conversion. Parties are wildly more efficient. Also more efficient in terms of currency because only one person has to use tablets. " Yep, i think tablets are 10 div each because they are used on old pre juiced maps in 6 ppl party. Playing solo on fresh maps (with ton of bugs like no biomes) loot wont even pay for tablets. PS. + map mods tablets are sniped by bots, i have set live search on trade site and every tablet priced under 5 divs was instantly sniped by a bot.
