Is there an issue with posting certain items in merchant tabs, or is everyone just trying to manipulate prices? I've never seen some of the new items available in asynchronous, and I assumed it was because they couldn't be listed that way yet.

you can get runes on currency trade, not market. you can't even list certain items on market (because it's a currency exchange item).
