Are you fixing performance on PS5/Pro?

It’s really frustrating that the game is unplayable?

Can we have a proper answer that what is the roadmap in regards of fixing performance once for all?

It took them almost an entire year to code the zoom function for console. The sound was glitching out for almost an entire year as well. We still don't have a sort function for console. L3/R3 and right stick cannot be mapped. Still can't pick an active quest, we have a giant list of quests clogging the right screen for no reason. The minimap UI is atrocious and completely illegible.

I bet there's no console team anymore, or maybe it's literally 1 person.

Console players are just trash to them, myself included as I'm on PS5 Pro. It's really sad the issues this game has on console. So much potential here.

I guess, I prefer gaming from my couch on that big screen TV!


But I gotta say, PoE2 is the first game, I've had performance issues occuring, in one specific instance when my brother had his 20 minions summons, it simply became unplayable on my PS5.

Lightning effects seem to be affected very strongly, occassionally leading to strongly pronounced slow-down in how fast time passes in-game. Everything then seems to be happening in slow-mo before suddenly speeding up again.

With Armour Piercing Rounds and Rapid Attacks II, the sound predictably starts glitching after half the magazine, also it sounds like slowing down during that time.

I hope these issues will continually be worked and improved on!

While dodge-rolling, I sometimes get the feeling, as if the character switches into sprint-mode with that strong slow-down at the end, although I definately did not keep the button pressed to trigger it.

But if we take a game like Ghost of Tsushima, and I picked this one because it's one which has a very good PC port... And if we consider it's performance on 4K on a PS5... According to steam hardware survey less than 15% of users can run it at 4K.

Yes it's true,[Removed by Support] but ignore things like unified memory architecture, kraken compression, superior I/O management, etc... And focus only on hardware comparisons, which is the biggest falacy ever...

And yes, many of us do own a PC, for example a Dual Xeon 8200 Platinum series, with 112 threads per CPU, 1TB of ram and one 3080. It's not meant to play, it's meant to compile software, run VMs and actually do work :)
