Maybe Omens should also get tiers?

TL;DR:

- Important crafting Omens too expensive
=> Players don't use them until absolute endgame
=> Crafting boring and bad from lv1-T14 mapping

- Tiered Omens can fix this
=> Just like how Tiered Trans/Aug/Regal/Exats improved early-mid game crafting

We get Fracturing Orb very early on in the Atlas, but many essential tools like Homogenising Exaltation are so rare (and thus so expensive) that by the time I can afford them, I'm already looking for ilv 82 "endgame" endgame gear.

The deliberate economy balance to make these essential crafting tools maintain value, also makes them mostly unavailable outside of top-tier crafting.

So from level 65 or so when we finish the campaign, all the way until maybe level 85-90, we are stuck in a limbo where we know there are crafting tools we need, but they are too expensive to be spending on leveling gear, or sometimes outright too expensive to buy.

We saw the same situation in 0.1 and 0.2 when GGG was extremely stingy on currency during the campaign, and now it's obvious that it was to make sure the campaign doesn't become a good source of endgame crafting currency.

Tiered currency solved that and allowed a properly tuned (some would argue still on the stingy side) campaign and early endgame currency drop rates.

But it also now exposes the fact that Omens face the same issue.

Because the Omen of Homoginising Exaltation works the same on an Exalted Orb and a Perfect Exalted Orb, it means GGG balances the drop rate of the Omen based purely on what they envision level 90+ economy to be.

And thus it becomes out of reach for practically 80-90% of our character's journey.

Wouldn't having tiered Omens fix that?

Lesser Omens only work on items at ilv 55 and below; Omens work on ilv 56-75, and Greater Omens work on ilv 76+. Or whatever the cut-off might be.

This way we could be utilizing the elaborate crafting system even while we are in campaign.

my concept for omens included tiers, why they don't have them already is a mystery, The concept was created as an easy solution for GGG to reduce the amount of exp loss complaints.

The omen of amelioration for example was supposed to come in a few tiers as well the sizes were supposed to be larger for more powerful ones making you weigh the cons of having it versus the loot you could pick up.
