Trial of Chaos Resetting on Disconnect

This league, I have been focusing on farming Trial of Chaos, as I like to mix things up between league to help prevent burnout. I have noticed, though, that if I do seemingly ANY other content in the game and get disconnected, whether it's an internet issue, game client issue, server issue, etc., I go right back into the game exactly where I left off... except when running Trial of Chaos.

3 times out of my last 8 or so runs, I have lost connection to the game for one reason or another, thus causing the abrupt end to my run. It is genuinely infuriating to be 8 or 9 rooms deep on a Trial run, just to get disconnected momentarily and have your run forcibly closed. Is there a reason this is seemingly the only, or at least one of very few, type of content that resets?

Also, I haven't done much digging into visual settings that might help with colorblindness, but Trial of Chaos is not very friendly for colorblind folks such as myself. The Trial of Blood (3 blood circles) being one of the biggest offenders for visual clarity, but pretty much anything red (heart tether and ring, blood globule pools on upgrade, exploding physical ring, lightning runes until they're about to trigger) is difficult to distinguish properly, in my opinion.
