I don't understand why this craft is failing!?

I'm mad... I have no idea why this didn't roll the Amanamu mod it was supposed to and why did it remove the +3 Skill gem from the P.Essence of Sorcery I used earlier in the craft?

The steps I took crafting were:

1) Base Wand (Extra Dam as Lightning / Cast Speed) + Essence of the Infinite for INT and to turn it rare
2) Slam a G.Exalt + Omen Sinis Exaltation for a prefix mod
3) Omen of Sinistral Cryst + P.Essence of Sorc and pray it hits the mod from the last step; It did, wand is now Ex Light / CSpeed / INT / +3 Spell Gem
4) Pop Fracturing Orb and pray it hits something good, it landed on Ex Light Dam which is perfect because I don't need to mess with the suffixes anymore
5) G.Exalt slam a bad mod
6) Omen of Sinistral Crys + Abyss Essence to remove new bad mod
7) Omen of Sinistral Necromancy + Liege Omen + Jawbone to turn Abyss Lord mod into Desecration to get the Amanamu Spell Dam/ Minion Dam one I want
8) Go to reveal, ??? Mod isn't there WTF? What did I do wrong?

Right now I got it back to: Ex Light Dam / INT / Spell Skill / Cast Speed
Did it by using a Sinistral Crystal Omen + P Sorcery Essence to wipe out the desecration prefix and get that +3 Spell Skills back. So... do I Jawbone + Liege Omen and desecrate again? With an Abyssal Echoes Omen and try again and pray? I have no idea.

You might have to annul prefix here to be honest. Don't slam a random mod for prefix with G. exalt to replace with abyss essence. Instead add desecration with sinistral necromancy and liege + echoes omens as you said, but just empty prefix. I'm sure you already know but the mod is one of three amunamu prefixes so you might have to omen of light if you miss after echoes reroll.

I have a feeling Abyss essence just functions like a chaos orb instead of doing what the tooltip description says its supposed to do and it just ignores anything else you do. Although I can't find any changes to this essence in patch notes or whatever so maybe you can help here. When you desecrated the mark of the abyssal lord even with liege of the omen etc. did you see amanamu mods in both desecrate windows maybe just not the one you wanted?

Maybe test with abyss essence + liege + echoes again to see if you see an amanamu mod in both windows to confirm?

I ended up just doing a Jawbone + Liege Omen again since the suffixes were full and the 1 fractured prefix, the mod was there that time (sucks it low balled the roll though but I don't know if when you use Omen of Abyssal Echoes from a forced Amanamau/Kurgal/Ulaman Omen if you'll get the same mods on the reroll? And I was NOT going to test that theory right now lol).

EDIT: the final prefix slam was mana :/ I probably should of tried a homogen omen roll. Not sure what I can do at this point to get rid of the mana for some more damage without royally F'ing the item up.
