Small Trade site change request - Default setting for Sale Type

Hi GGG,
Every single time I am searching for something on https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/ I scroll down to "Trade Filter" and change "Sale Type" selection from "Buyout or Fixed Price" to "Any" This is in order to include "Price with Note" items. Yes, items with "No Listed Price" are also displayed but since they are listed at the very bottom they don't affect trade experience. My request is to change the default setting to "Any". I do not believe it would be a challenge to implement or that it would impact the QoL of the users in any detrimental way. Please consider this for the next time the site will undergo a update/maintenance. An alternative could be fusing "Buyout or Fixed Price" and "Price with Note" into a single default category but that would be require some work. Moreover I believe keeping the categories available and distinct is good. Thank you. Our civilization rose so much through the mind that it sometimes becomes difficult to reincarnate our own bodies. I believe trade used to include the notes in default selection, and they chose to remove that? Not sure why? Does anyone really use the notes for sales tho? Because as is, the 'any' selection list items with no price. Just because you understand that, doesnt mean the majority of players using trade site will.
It doesnt make sense for that to be the default “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

I see the issue now.
So for you it comes down to "just enough" vs "too much" and you'd rather go for the first with the belief that, user experience would suffer more from having access to hundreds of extra and unnecessary results than to losing access to few extra items. My own experience is that I stop scrolling down once I reach items listed for a Mirror (actually, I almost never even get to that), and since items without price are listed even after that, they essentially never affect my experience in any way unless I am willing to go the extra mile. Maybe I am just the odd one out and most of the users are negatively impacted by the sigh of items with no price. Perhaps because they do not understand what it means, or because it gives them hope where there was none (sometime every result is a mirror), or because they feel like having their items without price also listed by default is an open invitation to unwanted messages. TLDR You're essentially ok with the "alternative" I mentioned in my OP and you're saying it actually was the way back in the days ? I don't remember any of it. The reason why this isn't the default is simple: players were listing items for a low price (in order to be sorted first), and then using the note to say the "real price".

" I think notes are also used for mirror services. Advertise for a mirror, list the fee in the note. " that may be done, but it its definitely not the primary way of fee notification. and when it is done, so few people see it, that it is statistically irrelevant. " I have always disliked all those identical items listed for 1M. So I have to contact 4-5 different people over the course of weeks if not months and get half the answers before I can be sure I get a reasonable fee. Comparatively, seeing an item with the fee listed may spare me not only the need to contact the seller, but also to wait for them to be online. I used to set the fee instead of a mirror as the price with the expectation than anyone looking for such item would already know the value of it and understand that it could only be the fee. I got pm by someone who tried to buy the item at price, then angrily told me to get in line and price it for 1M like they did (because of course they were offering the same service for the same item). That's when I decided that I wanted to make Price with Note functional and relevant again. I can understand that people who have a dozen mirrors might not care to wait days to spare 100 Divine Orb, but I don't have that kind of cash so I do. For that reason I wholehearted agree with people putting up website and forum thread with fees. Beyond Mirror Service however, I sometime forget why I listed a specific item at a set price, and I like that I can note that this Timeless is good for that build/keystone that this item is legacy and stuff.
