Simulacrum bugged, cannot continue

Simulacrum with 100 splinters... is bugged :( Can't continue, because Kosis, the revelation disappeared. I can't kill him.
I tried to go to town and re-enter: now both Kosis' health bar shows *and* the next wave stats - but I can't actual start the next wave. Nothing happens, when I click.
I tried to quit, restart the game, to no avail.

wtf... why is it so damn hard to create a bug report with a screenshot :(
