Crossplay Disabled???

Not sure if anyone else is having an issue, but I play on Xbox One, and have friends who play on pc. I open my social menu and tab to friends, and it shows me that they are hidden and says that crossplay is disabled.

I open the Game Settings, and sure enough, crossplay is disabled. I go out to the main screen and try to enable crossplay, but I can't.

What is going on????
