Mark of The Abyssal Lord Bugged

I used a Mark of the abyssal lord to remove a T3 accuracy prefix on my lvl 82 Gemini Box.
I used a Ancient Jawbone to desecrate that item, the rolled mods were well below the mod level67 of the accuracy it replaced. I received several mods that were lvl 46, 50 etc, i thought that mark of the abyssal lord guaranteed that the mods would be t3 at least or ilvl 67 at least of the mod it removed. Mark of The Abyssal Lord does not interact with the removed mod's tier.

mh... should have read the bugs before using it.
Crossbow with nice 680 DPS 1. activated "Suffix only" (Omen Dextral Necromancy) 2. activated "Reroll" (Omen of Abyssal Echoes) 3. activated on Crossbow Abysmal Mark 4. activated on Crossbow Ancient Jawbone 5. system tagged strangely "+6 Level of Attack" T1 (didn't expected THAT bad choice) 6. got bad options 7. did reroll 8. go further bad options (took "25% increase reload speed" T1) So the mark made my Plasma Blast go from 71k down to 47k with that. First I interpreted it as "it takes the option and makes a higher one" - then I read - it should be a Tier-Upgrade, not an Option-Upgrade (what a disappointment). But nevertheless - it does not go up another higher Tier like described. |

Correction/Addon:
It seems a change of the Tiers happend and I didn't got that. T1 is highest Tier. T10 is lowest Tier. ... not very intuitive btw. But back to the topic: wouldn't it be better/more logic that a high class Omen would not touch a Max Tier T1 to change. PoE2 is so much Las Vegas which is sometimes really annoying. |

" where does it say that its based on the removed modifier from the essence? and that it upgrades it the mod thats removed by the essence? its true that the wording regarding the higher tier could be better, as example it could say the "minimum modifier level" like jawbone or Tiered Currencey BUT it says in the tooltip of the "Mark of the Abyssal Lord" DESECRATION removes THAT MODIFIER (the mark of the abyssal lord) and "replaces it with a higher Tier" its just that you get a minimum level modifier....so probably min level40 if you compare it to Ancient Jawbone etc. Last edited by Sinpox#4289 on Oct 7, 2025, 1:06:33 AM
