From the Best Season Ever to the Worst Decisions Ever
Since the release of PoE2, this has been the best season so far – the loot, the gameplay, the fact that every class is viable in the meta, the diversity. In the first season everyone was playing attribute stackers, in the second season it was only spears. But now, for the first time, you created a season with true variety and enjoyable gameplay.
And then, it feels like someone on your team thought: “Everyone is too happy, Diablo’s new season is coming, let’s ruin our own game so people quit and move to other games. There’s too much stability and fun in PoE right now.” And you actually did it. Unbelievable. You claim that you are making these changes to consider players with limited time, but honestly – is it the people who log in 2 hours a day, 3 times a week that keep your game alive, or players like us who dedicate 15 hours a day? This situation is ridiculous. Right now, the cost of crafting a single map + tablet fees brings the entry price of one map to around 150 exalted orbs, and without any old atlas boost systems, you’re lucky to get 3 exalted back from inside. What exactly are you trying to do? What’s the goal? I really don’t know, but if you don’t do something to stop this disaster, I’ve decided I will quit the game – despite investing 15 hours a day. Problems right now: Atlas boost doesn’t work. Quantity cap is stuck at 35. Waystones no longer give any meaningful benefit. At the very least, bring waystones back to their old form so we can get 20–30% map quantity again. Or buff tablets, or fix the atlas. Even before these nerfs, we had empty runs while farming with 120%+ map quantity – and now it’s far worse. For example, I just tested a map without any boosts: Abyssal-modified map with +150% rarity and +45 rare monsters Result: only 2 exalted orbs dropped. Crafting cost of this map: 1 chaos 3x Greed 4 exalted 3.5 exalted preserved Plus a tablet (worth 7–8 chaos each) which consumes 1 attempt And the “reward” for all that effort? Two exalted orbs. This is what you think is fair for players who spend hours crafting maps and dedicating their time to your game. Congratulations, you managed to ruin what was your best season so far. Honestly, many of us were surprised that we had a smooth, fun, diverse season for once – now it all makes sense. I really hope you fix this situation, or else you’ll be watching the collapse of your own game. Whoever made this decision, one thing is clear: they don’t care about this game as much as the players do. wanted to edit the post — while you were busy ruining the game and pushing out all these updates, you could’ve at least fixed Derelict Mansion. Your mistake is only valuing your maps based on raw currency found. This is also a common problem among PoE1 players. I bet you found a bunch of other valuable stuff that was worth picking up to sell off. Did you pick them up? If not, why not?
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

"running maps with tons of rarity rewards nothing". That's how you sound and talk, in absolute and...talking like that: 0 credibility, talk with less with emotions and with more logic please. I get that the high end got nerfed but the way you present it? so annoying, it's like everything sucks when in reality, things aren't as grim at all, you're just upset and you use absolute and exageration...but that's not how you construct feedback. " I heard waystones/tablets +item rarity multiplicative on your gear item rarity. May be gear item rarity means a lot more than map/tablets item rarity? I kinda dislike whole idea of sacrificing some mods on items for item rarity Other then that, i agree, there is something wrong with the drops |

My loot is actually better than ever but I am still on the double dip, so without that it'd probably be worse.
Still, the fundamental issue is ground loot is boring. if you're not running Overrun abyss maps, you're cooked for ground loot in this game. |
