Waystone map reset after death

Sometimes when I die on boss while mapping the boss room relocates (previously was North-West and after respawning on checkpoint is boss arena South-East) and the whole map resets to a different layout, but without any mobs and any previous loot. Just empty new generated map. Is this BUG or what ? Happened to me roughly 4 times.

It´s a feature, don´t do the boss if you still have thing to do on the map.
