Stuck in Caldera-Map after defeating the boss

A got into the boss arena, defeated the boss-version of the Blind Beast. And then nothing happens. The small tribes-kin stand atop the arena, chanting like madmen, but the gate wont open. I have tried going back to town and into the map again, and logging out and in again, but still nothing.
