PSA: POE2 not launching on 581.42 NVIDIA drivers (DX12 crash)

I am running a trusty 3060, so this might not be affecting everyone. HOWEVER...
I have just tried updating my drivers to the latest ones from September 30th and the game won't launch, throwing a DX12 error instead:  Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. rolling back drivers (using DDU) did not help. Guess no more POE2 for me then.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.
