The problem with Rakiata's Flow tied to a Unique map
|
It's the level of RNG involved. I've jumped about 15 towers with the Grand Project tablet looking for that unique map to get a chance of getting the gem. You want to guess how many times this stupid map spawned in my Atlas? Yep, ZERO!
In POE1 I'd just buy the freaking map and could run it ad nauseum. Either drastically up the spawn rate or give more drop locations for the gem. Currently it's just way to frustrating as you have ZERO player agency in this unlike POE1. Last bumped on Jan 17, 2026, 8:33:22 PM

Found 4 of them sofar, and got the gem on the second one.
Since then not a single Jade Isles map in sight. |

I don't know how that part is true dialla's desire drops in the campaign (interlude), as long as it's lvl65, i.e. any rare on lvl64 map.

The problem with Rakiata's is the gem itself. If you don't expect a nerf, you should.

I found 2 Jade island map. I got lucky on second try for Rakiata's flow.
Somehow i keep getting loads of Mansion. Not much of the desert one either. I guess it's just RNG. Problem is that one support is completely busted vs the others lol So everybody want it and feel "unlucky" not having that specific map. Maybe it is also intended to be rarer. SSF player

" Yessir. " GGG is trying to save you from that mindless gaming. Let them. |

they need to increased the drop rate for Rakiata's flow, Garukhan's relove, and rigwald's ferocity i have ran 50+ eye of the storms, 50+ and not got one. i get being rare but that is ridicules now the the price to buy a Rakiata flow is over 200 div. this makes the game feel like a pay to win game. i have 3k+ hours in and enjoy the game but not every one has the time to grind that much. i want to be able to farm these for currency but if they take that much effort to get even 200 div is not worth it. and I'm not talking about making it drop every time maybe even one in ten but 50 to 60 runs and not getting one it is absurd. and if your trying to get the map to spawn you need to get as far away from your home base as possible and then they will pop up.

" LMAO, saving you from mindless "buy and run" gaming with... Spam shitty maps to traverse a randomized atlas? Quality development is rare i guess. Last edited by GabrielCorso#5386 on Jan 17, 2026, 8:22:15 PM

" You do understand that all mapping is mindless gaming as well, right? Go in, do farm you've optimized for, kill boss, leave, and repeat. Very compelling gameplay right there. All this is doing is just forcing players target farming specific loot to slog through maps they don't care for. If your response to that is "that's the point", then it's a terrible attempt to deter players from that playstyle. Chase items like Rakiata's is rare, and maps themselves have terrible loot, so of course some people are going to be attracted to farming those specific items. You want a more viable solution? Make the target farm less lucrative. Nerf the hell out of it to reduce demand, make it more common to increase supply. This will make it so it's a nice bonus to find rather than something to gun straight for. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
