Help with my Tactician build
Hi everyone!
Lately I've playing a tactician build focused on the surrounded nodes, armor+deflection, granades and pin. This is the link: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/maiagallo-6617/character/Arrigos It's working decently well, and for now it's holding well with few deaths and pretty fast clearing speed (I'm doing T15 right now). I used to have a idol of uldurn before, but I found that I was rarely having 3 mortars up at the same time and the extra granades were killing my fps, so I decided to go for a different amulet to improve my stats. I'm using Shankgonne and I'd like to keep it since I find it fun. I also have some extra gems here and there because of Gem Enthusiast. Right now I have anointed Jack of All Trades and I'm pathing towards Prism Guard and the jewel socket next to it. I don't expect to go much further than that. I have a few questions! - Aside from getting better gear in general, is there any specific upgrade/item I should look forward to? - Is there anything (passives, gems) that don't synergize at all or poorly in my build? - Should I anoint Prism Guard, path to Jack of All Trades and use the extra points for something else? - Should I make an effor to reach Unwavering Stance since I'm using Shankgonne? Hey!
I'm running an always-surrounded Tactician that relies heavily on pinning for survival. Not sure I can answer all of your questions directly, but I'll share my build: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/Kerchunk-7797/character/Rodynasty (Ignore Crossbow Shot supports, they're just there to store gems so I can decide which Crystallised Immunity to activate between maps). I finished T3 Simulacrum last night which I felt good about given my relatively meagre kit and defensive stats. The combination of pin/blind/maim is a huge defensive boost, and the immortal companion with Temporal Bubble is I think what cinched this particular run: https://youtu.be/vlrVgG5D17o Thoughts & opinions after working through the T3s about the build: - Don't ignore Utility Ordnance; the damage penalty looks huge, but it doesn't end up impacting your final damage numbers nearly as much as it seems; Cooldown Reduction in general is key - Explosive shot w/ Ratha's Assault for popping my Explosive Grenades is a key part of the build - Flash Grenade w/ Payload & Short Fuse II creates a really awesome and effective interaction where you get one set of flashes almost immediately and a second set further out (since the Payload triggers while they're still in the air, the secondary activation takes over and maintains flight momentum) - I'm pretty close to dropping Cannons, Ready! and taking the extra Spirit; I think the build will work fine without the Totems at this point Last edited by Kerchunk#7797 on Oct 1, 2025, 10:24:17 PM
