GGG Support/MTX transfer
If you're going to hit me with "contact support" don't answer please.
Why has it been almost a year talking to support to try and move my MTX to my steam account? "We are overwhelmed!" For a year? Every time I send an email back to support it goes back into the queue and i don't hear from anyone for another 3 months and when I ask for clarifying information I get the same copy/paste answer that they just sent me....3 MONTHS AGO! I've been a huge supporter of Path of Exile and love the game more than any other. But essentially ignoring the people who still want to play POE 1 is beyond ridiculous. I was ecstatic when I found out we would be allowed to move console MTX to PC. All i want is to move my Xbox MTX to PC so i can continue to play the game that I love on something that can actually handle the game well. Not being able to use my MTX that i have spent my hard earned money on after we were told we could move everything over is disheartening. Hopefully something changes for the better. I'm not asking for you guys to fix my account. I'm wanting to know why nothing seems to be being done about it. I understand "more than normal call volume". What I don't understand is why we are just left hanging for months at a time instead of fixing an issue and then moving onto the next person? About to hit my one year anniversary with support. AFAIK GGG hasn't done a single MTX transfer.
I don't know if it's a technical problem (and the only 1 I can think of is that they thought 10 people would ask and they could do it manually, but 10,000 asked and now they need a tool to automatic it, or a political one (jumped the gun on the announcement and MS still hasn't given permission). At this point it's clear they're not happening though, and GGG management is being even more disingenuous than usual when directing support to use the "high volume" copypasta. The reason I say more than normal is that since mid-year they've been caught up on most support requests; it's only the subset that can't be addressed by first tier support that remain backlogged. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?

" While you don't want to hear it, it IS the only way to get support. As for their back log, YES it could take a year or more to clear, they don't have a large support team and while it works well when things are normal they have NOT been normal. Since the run up to PoE2's beta you have tens of thousands of people coming back to accounts that are up to years old that have issues like email addresses no longer being valid, or other account related access problems...this is something they get ever league and the PoE2 beta easily doubled their previous peak load. Then you get into fun stuff like people buying keys from their parties and getting their beta access revoked because the reseller done a charge back. ALL the MTX transfer requests, other hacks and bans, problems with physical goods and other BS that requires more in depth support. Ohh and let's not forget the impatient that keep spamming support with mail making their ticket take longer because the keep removing themselves from the queue. THEN, to top it off you have several new leagues bringing the same problems as above but to a lesser degree each time. Personally i do think they need to employ more support staff, at least double...but that probably won't be enough to clear it all quickly, and any temp staff they would employ would only be dealing with the basic stuff and the intial security questions that are asked before those tickets are put in the queue to wait their turn on the more in depth support. I would also expect that the hype on the run up to PoE2's actual launch to be very bad for support tickets. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

They finally merged my MTX today but did not move any MTX that I had got from challenges, also seems any mystery box rewards I’d previously opened are gone and I just got the boxes again. Overall I’m pleased it’s finally happened but earlier emails indicated I’d get all my challenge related MTX as well but that wasn’t the case.

Got mine today as well and noticed all the mystery boxes ive opened are back to openable too and a few cosmetics were left behind along with 1 stash tab and the gore cosmetics i bought first blood pack dont know why it wasnt transferred ill update if they fix it

Final update: Got all items and stashes as I had on xbox on pc!
