map last checkpoint

what is the point of having the checkpoint once you finish all the map objective and yet you didn't find the final boss.

I do understand if I found the boss checkpoint I can use it but it should open it as well if I have finished all the maps objects but the boss of the map

run 2 maps atm and last checkpoint spawned when i found the boss checkpoint

in every one of these


the last check point did not spawned in the last rare mob
and when i saw the boss checkpoint then the last check point spawned near it
