Game Crashes to Desktop -- NO ERROR MESSAGE

I have a nice rig and yet for some reason this game crashes to desktop without any error message or anything... This is particularly frustrating when trying to complete my ascendancy because it considers a crash as a death/loss when it happens.
PC Specs: RTX4080 i9 - 13.9k 32g RAM Motherboard: ASUS Prime z790-P Does ANYBODY have a fix for this? Or know a cause? This makes the game literally unplayable even though when it isn't crashing, it runs perfectly smooth. I've tried swapping to DX11, Vulkan, playing with settings... I don't know the cause so it's difficult to figure out what I need to change. Someone please tell me this is being looked into, because this has been an issue since it released for me and doesn't happen with any other game, ever. Last bumped on Sep 29, 2025, 2:09:53 AM

" i was having the same problem but I was using older drivers because the game keeps freezing. I updated my drivers and it seemed to fix the problem, though the game still locks up sometimes. If you want some sort of log that you can share, open 'Event Viewer' and under Windows Logs and then Applications look for error messages. maybesharing it GGG they may have some sort of idea why it's happening.This is the message from the last time the game locked up on me. What does all this mean? i have no idea but maybe it might help GGG stop crashes and lockups:
