Simulacrum and invulnerability aura

It's starting to feels like winning difficulty 3 Simulacrum is borderline RNG at this point;

4 different characters this league I've been unable to do it and strong pattern I noticed is that as soon as an invulnerability aura rare mob spawns I'm pretty much blueballed (leading me to rage stop when it happened at wave 14 when everything was going well)

Not seeing much option here other than having absurdly high AOE damage, but if you get to the point you can 1 tap difficulty 3 simu I assume you are pretty much done with the game.

Also noticed such things previous season, only managed to beat max difficulty once both season 1 and 2 and it was definitely sheer luck regarding delirium mods and invulnerability rare not spawning. Also being 2 helped due to splitting mob aggro and thus making possible invulnerability less of a problem, no such chance when solo.
