Smith of Kitava - cannot activate companion

Hello there

I have played Smith of Kitava and cannot activate the companion.

The companion skill cannot be right-clicked to activate even when you have enough spirit for reservation.
I have also not used the Manifest weapon skill and the node 'Living weapon' is not allocated.

I have found the temporary solution as you can unallocate all 8 of your ascendancy points in order to activate your companion when enter the map then you allocate all those points back in map.

However; when you have finished the map then return to town (to turn in the quest) or hideout. In order to start the new map with companion you need to repeat this process again. This costs tons of gold to respec Ascendancy points.

Slot a spell into Fire Spell on Hit
Then you should be able to activate your companion.
