[0.3.0]20 min Sekhema speed runner Hollow Palm Amazon

IMPORTANT NOTES:
This build is custom made to be used in Trials of the Sekhemas and will not perform well in other content without doing some gear and skill changes

You are expected to understand basic mechanics of Trials for this build to work, or at least manage your expectations if you plan to use this build to learn them.

Don’t ignore the relic section, relics give a massive power boost to this build.

Spoiler
Full 20 minutes trial run
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjl5bwa9_XY

Pros and cons:
Spoiler
Pros:
Cheap
Very fast trial runner for budget
10+ attacks per second makes it feel very fluid and responsive

Cons:
Can’t really do other content without some adjustments
Needs few seconds to kill trial bosses instead of just oneshoting them
It feels bad going down from 120+% MS when you switch to another character

Build Mechanics:
Spoiler
Main goal is to get very high evasion rating along with Queen of the Forest to get way over 100% increased movement speed while in trials
That’s why Amazon ascendancy is great choice since it doubles evasion on other gear slots while halving already mediocre evasion roll on the Queen
Another thing that scales well with evasion on gear is Hollow Palm Technique which works with Stalking Panther doubling attack speed bonuses

Build is getting some flat damage scaling from gem levels, but even more is gained from flat elemental damage rolls on rings

Build focuses strictly on killing single enemy since there is no need to clear any trash in trials
Goal is to build combo quickly by attacking with fast hitting Tempest Flurry And then use Hand of Chayula linked with Culmination and Ailth’s Chimes to generate power charges on demand and then use them to execute Flicker Strike with massive multiplier given by Culmination II bonus from combo points

Gems and links:
Spoiler
It is very important to get as high level as you can afford of Tempest Flurry and Flicker Strike

Tempest Flurry - Practiced Combo - Rapid Attacks II - Elemental Armament II - Rage III - Efficiency II

Tempest Bell - Close Combat II - Overabundance II - Magnified Area II - Elemental Armament - Mana Leech

Hand of Chayula - Voltaic Mark - Culmination II - Ailth’s Chimes - Rapid Attacks III

Charged Staff - Prolonged Duration II - Innervate - Concentrated Area - Perpetual Charge

Mantra of Destruction

Flicker Strike - Close Combat II - Culmination II - Elemental Armament II - Concentrated Area - Hourglass

Trinity - Cold Mastery - Precision/clarity (this support gem is not required if you don’t have enough spirit)

Wind Dancer - Blind II - Maim - Magnified Area II - Pin II (it is fine if you don’t put any supports here since it almost never triggers anyway)

How to play:
Spoiler
General clearing:
Hold Tempest Flurry, if you need more damage use Hand of Chayula at around 50 combo points to get power charges (it will give charges even if you don’t have target) activate and keep Charged Staff buff up, drop tempest bell - Hold Tempest Flurry
Note: you are supposed to skip enemies and just focus on trial objectives

Bosses or anything very tanky:
Hold Tempest Flurry, at 200-300 combo points (you can just go for way more if you wanna be safe, or less if you wanna limit test it yourself) use Hand of Chayula to get 5 power charges, use Mantra of Destruction and then Flicker Strike
You can use Tempest Bell, but make sure it is gone before you use Flicker to avoid bouncing to it and wasting your damage

Gear:
Spoiler
Stats to aim for:
75% fire, cold, lightning resistance,15% chaos resistance (more is better)
1700 or more life
At least 50k evasion while in hideout with 3 Wind Dancer stacks
Leech 5% (or more) of Physical Attack damage as Mana

Body Armour:
Socket Body Runes here
Queen of the Forest
3 sockets is more useful than high evasion roll since ascendancy halves evasion from body armour

Helmet:
Socket Iron Runes here
Priority: As much evasion rating as possible
After evasion, get as many resistances as you can afford

Gloves:
Socket Iron Runes here
Priority: As much evasion rating as possible
+2 to melee skills is decent for damage, but it contests prefix for evasion
You can get physical damage leeched as mana here, but it is also obtainable on rings and you only need it on 1 place
Get as many resistances as you can afford

Boots:
Socket Iron Runes here
Priority: As much evasion rating as possible
Movement speed is dead stat since Queen of the Forest just ignores it
Again, get as many resistances as you can afford

Rings:
Use Reaver Catalysts here
Best prefixes: Flat cold, fire, lightning damage
Flat evasion rating is good option since it helps with movement speed and also greatly reduces price compared to 3x elemental damage
For suffixes get resistances and physical damage leached as mana on one of rings if you didn’t get it on gloves
You can get life leech as well, but it is low priority and only helps if you don’t wanna use life flask when you happen to get hit

Amulet:
Use Carapace Catalysts here
+30 spirit is minimum required to fit both Wind Dancer and Trinity
% increased evasion rating and +3 to level of melee gems (get 2 if you can’t afford 3)
Use suffixes to fix resistances or attributes if needed
Electric Amplification is good anoint for damage

Belt:
At least 2 charm slots
Priority: As high life as you can get
Suffixes: Resistances
Strength is not bad to get more life if you can afford it

Charms:
Dousing charm to avoid getting ignited when you get hit by fire traps
Thawing Charm and Stone Charm - We rarely get hit, but when we do it is for more than 50% of life so it is almost guaranteed stun/freeze without charms

Jewels:
Prefix Options:
% Increased Evasion rating - go for high end of rolls (17-20)
% Increased Magnitude of shock/ailments
% Increased Attack damage
% Increased Damage with Hits against Rare and Unique Enemies

Suffix Options:
% increased Attack Speed
% increased Strength/Dexterity/Intelligence
Note: Both of these suffix options have low impact on build performance, but will greatly increase the price of jewels. So go for suffixes only if you wanna minmax

Relics:
This build relies on relics and you need to threat them as part of gear
4x Seal Relic
5x Urn Relic
You can replace 2 or 4 Urn Relics with Seal Relics since they roll same modifiers so mix and match with whatever is cheaper

Prefixes:
9x % Increased Defences - get as high rolls as you can afford (it can roll up to 70%, but perfect rolls get very expensive quickly), this gives huge boost to the build with both movement speed and evade chance

Suffixes:
3x 22% Honour Resistance - This brings us to 66% total which I found to be more than enough. If you don’t feel confident, get resistance on 4th relic as well to cap it at 75%
6x % Increased quantity of relics dropped by monsters get as high roll as you can afford (it can roll up to 20%, but perfect roll is very expensive). This doesn’t affect performance of build, but greatly affects profit since last boss can drop more than 1 unique relic with higher chance

Skill trees:
Spoiler
I leveled as hollow palm from level 30 and it was not amazing even with gear.
I recommend using Lightning Spear/Primal Strikes
Leveling POBs - you can change sections for different level trees

Final Build:
This is my current build, just follow gear section and buy gear according to your budget, main difference with budget gear will be total movement speed.

Change custom modifier under configuration to your total defences given by relics (mine is around 500% currently), or remove it completely to see stats outside of Trials

Short trial tutorial:
Spoiler
Afflictions:
Iron Manacles (You have no evasion) is run ender. Even if you manage to complete run with it it will likely take longer than just leaving and starting over

Reduced effect of non-unique relics is very bad for both build performance and profit. If you are forced to take it before last floor you should just reset

Deceptive Mirror (You are not always taken to the room you select) and Purple Smoke (Afflictions are unknown on the Trial Map) don’t do anything by themselves, but can lead to getting Iron Manacles

Less damage/increased monster life is a bit annoying but not too bad since you skip most of enemies and you just need a bit more combo points to one shot bosses if you have these afflictions

Anything that procs when you get hit (including Hungry Fangs) is free to take since you almost never get hit

Anything that affects traps is free to take since you can just spam dodge through them and never get hit
Movement speed reduction doesn’t do anything since Queen of the Forest ignores it

Monster damage affliction can lead to one shots if you have less than 1700 life, so keep that in mind

Boons:
Increased effect of non-unique relics - is best boon possible to get, it gives movement speed and also pretty much guarantees 3 unique relics from last boss

50% more defences gives insane movement speed boost and usually cuts total run time by around 20%

Increased damage/reduced monster life is nice to have, but not required

Increased movement speed doesn’t work with Queen of the Forest, so don’t waste water on that boon

Room Types:
Avoid Hourglass whenever possible, it takes very long to complete
Ritual and Gauntlet are fastest rooms
Chalice can be slow if you get multiple afflictions that reduce your damage or increase enemy life
Escape is good, but can be sketchy on 4th floor if you are trying to dodge through enemies

Rewards:
Pledges are not worth the time to check them even if you are forced to path through it
Restore Honour and get affliction is bad since it can remove your evasion and end your run
Restore Honour is not worth waiting for the animation if you are missing like 100 or less honour
Sacred water is always good for chance to get relic effect boon from merchant
Random boon shrines are worth waiting for animation in my opinion

Bosses:
2 hand slam from Golem can one shot you if your evasion and deflection check fails

If you get out of melee range of scorpion it will do diving move and waste you a lot of time, so stay in melee and dodge through without leaving melee range

It is best to wait for Zarokh to go in middle and start spinning move before doing flicker combo since it makes sure he will not decide to teleport just as you use flicker
Also make sure you do flicker before he is at 50% hp or he will make you collect his hourglasses (if you kept collecting combo points all the way to his 50% life, you will 100% oneshot (and overkill) him with flicker)

Questions and Answers:
Spoiler
Q: Can I use this in maps?
A: Not really, you would need to add some aoe skill and likely switch to crit by using high ES body armour and boots with MS

Q: Only 1700 life and 2000 honour seems very low for 4th trial
A: I did more than 50 runs with this setup, and haven’t failed once from honour loss or death. The only way to fail is if you get forced into no evasion affliction. It is important to note that with 95% evasion chance you almost never get hit, and lose 300 honour on final boss on average without dodging any of his abilities

Q; Why is sprint not working?
A: Queen of the Forest prevents the sprint from giving additional movement speed, so by sprinting you are just exposing yourself to stun without gaining any benefits
