POE2 : Ignited ground from Self Sources does not proc Flamewalker

I'm currently playing a Blackflame Covenant Infernalist. I'm trying to proc Flamewalker by using Profane Ritual and Burning Inscription support. It does not increase my damage as intended, if the effect is a boolean as it implies.

Testing:

Profane Ritual a corpse. Walk onto the burning ground. Checked damage, no change from default when walking on or off.

I checked to see if it had anything to do with Blackflame and it doesn't (skilling in and out through our boy The Hooded One). I read online that someone else had an issue with oil grenades and also legendary boots that create ignited ground.

If this is working as intended, I suggest just adding the word "Hostile" to the passive tree description.
