What is wrong with your Network?

I play on normal ps5 with 500 Mps Fiberglas connection. Always around 10 in the evening my ping starts jumping from 10 ms to 250ms and more. Makes playing not enjoyable. No matter which Server i use (normally i use Frankfurt/Germany). This Problem is there since 0.1. The 0.3 makes it whorse, since more happens onscreen. Friend of me owns ps5 pro and got the same problems. So when will u fix your network code???

Same problem here, right now I have 30000+ ms in any map. So thanks GGG for losing tablets and maps...playing on xbox

Or maybe its your ISP provider that is the problem. Change your DNS on your router or console to
8.8.8.8 / 8.4.4.8 or 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 and monitor your ping after the change Last edited by Seyfzone#9724 on Nov 4, 2025, 6:43:49 PM

This league is the worst experience I've had in the last 3 1/2 years. The lag, rendering, skipping, load times, freezes and disconnects are horrendous. It's not fun to play this game right now. And it's no my service provider. I had a technician come to my house and after everything we have come to the conclusion that it's the game and not my ISP. I need to walk away from this game for now for my sanity. I make 2 steps forward and 10 steps back every time I play. Plus this is the worst currency league in forever. I've played since day one of this league and I still have not had 1 divine drop. That's ridiculous.

Changing your DNS does not fix anything other than few ms improvement on initial server response...
You could optimize your router via ssh to disable packet inspection, reduce jitter/bufferbloat... But won't help much. I've done that. It's on GGG's end, PoE1 works fine, all games with dedicated servers work fine. So don't waste your time. |
