[Suggestion] New Citrine Amulet: Grind Gold for Gambling, Crafting & Trading
For Patch 0.4.0, I urge GGG to add a new common amulet that grants a modest boost to gold find. During campaign, this would give players the ability to grind for more gold to support the big 3: Gambling, Crafting and Trading. Citrine was chosen as it's known as the "Merchant Stone."

Gold find would also help SSF characters buy upgrades at the vendor or help cover the cost of respecs as a new player. In the end, Gold find is a fun mechanic in D2 and should be brought over to PoE2.

I see many people complain that the gold cost for trading is very high and creates too much friction, yet does not support adding gold find to the game? Doesn't make sense to me.

The friction is the point. This was GGG's way of allowing us to have Currency Exchange and Asynchronous Trade. If you want more gold, engage in content that rewards more of it. There's even a unique map you can find called Castaway that literally gives hundreds of thousands of gold per run.
Also, what are people doing that gold is such an issue for them? I'm sitting on 5 million right now. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

The only way I see this working is that it can only be found in act 1, meaning it'll always have terrible stat scaling, but I don't see GGG ever adding items that exist for one part of the game. IMHO Gambling in this game is a huge mistake. It weakens every other system when users are just hoarding gold to gamble and the fact that its worthwhile shows how badly crafting is broken.

I so sick of the gold find stat, I don't wanna see it anymore, at least they removed the gold shrine...it was really bad, if you want more gold just sell everything you take.
