One step ahead & Action Speed calculation [solved]
Put Action Speed on my boots, got no benefits.
Neither attack nor movement speed. One Step Ahead cites "action speed is at least 108% of base value" PoB calcs +0,4% dps but also neiter attack or movement speed. With just 2.9 attacks per second it cant be the Action cap. When i delete One step ahead in PoB i even get -2% movement speed. Who is to blame? Me, the game or PoB? ![]() Im bad at math. With "at least 108%" you will gain no additional benefits from sources of increased action speed unless the total magnitude is 9% or greater (therefore exceeding the threshold). Anything lower than 8% will be overwritten by the set value.

Ok.
So its calculated different than Attack & Movement speed although it affects them. Just only if it exceeds the increased action speed value. So if the boots had 9% action speed, the total would be 109, not 117, right? I assume Onslaught is calculated like action speed? Bc 9% increased Effect of Onslaught on Boots also doenst increase Attack Speed. Im bad at math. Last edited by LoTharios#3338 on Sep 24, 2025, 11:06:00 AM

"Yes. Onslaught should work. |

" Looks like its calculated as action speed. Using this flask and not other onslaught effects. ![]() Im bad at math. Last edited by LoTharios#3338 on Sep 24, 2025, 11:46:31 AM

Attack speed and movement speed increased in the screenshot.

yes. but its not 9% increase of the onslaught effect from the flask.
Flask gives me 22% inc movement speed. 9% of that would be 1.98%, so near double of 1%. Im bad at math.

Onslaught gives 20% movespeed, 9% increased effect will give +1.8%, rounded to 1%.
