Launch 3.27 after Halloween
I'd understand and very much prefer if you would delay the launch for a week or so. That way the holiday will be done and over when you launch the new league.
We've seen before that launching a new league right before a holiday isn't good. One week less or more of waiting doesn't matter imo, I'd rather wait an extra week if it means a better leaguestart. Last bumped on Sep 26, 2025, 2:03:10 PM

Not sure how big a part of their player base is NA, and further, of whom Halloween affects their ability to play PoE.
The rest of the world engage far less Halloween, as it's a US corporate "holiday" primarily. |

As an american who has lived in a few countries, I can say, Japan loves halloween. Southern Italy, not so much.
Definitely not a US only holiday. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

No thanks. GGG absolutely shouldn't delay for something as minor as Halloween.

" The halloween holiday is on the 31 Oct in New Zealand. And the problem isn't the playerbase, it's the fact that the employees on GGG goes on holiday right after leaguestart if they launch before. That hasn't worked out well in the past, since there is usually alot of work with bugsfixes, serverproblems, nerfs/buffs and whatnot the first 2 weeks. Let's hope they have it all figured out :) |

Halloween is not a designated holiday day in NZ or AU.

" Guess no worries then, because I'm not sure a very big part of the playerbase is away for halloween (might be wrong about this). In any case I'd be perfectly fine with them releasing it after. As long as I know they'll stick to the 4-month cycle, and not do 10-month cycles now and then, I don't care about a few weeks here and there. All I'm hoping for is a smooth and good leaguestart :) |
