Rogue standing in 2m from the Abyss did not spawn the Lich with unique diamond

Guys, I give up. I previously lost 7 out of 10 unique diamonds because rogues were standing more than one screen away from the near abyss (ban me if I'm lying), but this situation completely ruined my desire to farm the rogues.

This must be a world record: I found six rogue on the one Ravine map (proof), but I didnt get a single diamond.
