Overabundance III

I'm feeling a bit like I'm going crazy and was hoping someone could offer some clarification.

I could have sworn I saw the "Overabundance III" support gem in the game at some point recently. I was theorycrafting a new build centered around it, and I'm positive I saw it listed on both PoB (Path of Building) and poe2db. The whole concept for my new character was based on the unique mechanics of this gem.

After spending a good amount of time leveling a new character specifically for this build, I've come to realize that Overabundance III seems to be completely missing from the game now. I've searched high and low and can't find it anywhere.

Did I completely imagine this? I know that sometimes datamined information can show up in community tools before it's officially implemented. Is it possible that's what happened here? Does anyone else remember seeing this gem in-game, or was it only ever on the databases?

If it's not currently in the game, has there been any word from the developers on when we might expect it to be implemented? It's a bit of a bummer to have to reroll, but I'm still really excited about the build idea if the gem is coming soon.
