Polygon count in art assets and the performance issues

Both PC gamers and PS5 players report major lags especially on large maps drawing lots of things, lots of AoE spam from skills etc and this is quite honestly something almost never seen on PS5 games these days because the hardware is so over-specced. So my guess is the common dominator between both clients is the art assets themselves causing the performance issues.

That is to say, in your artist quest to make the most beautiful piece of art (and indeed the game art is gorgeous) they have used way too many polygons for drawing even small things like vases, animating fire, animating enemy models, etc and this is why the game client cannot keep up and is over-taxing the console as well as high end PC gaming setups.

Far too many polygons used in models for what is an isometric action RPG where that level of detail cannot actually be seen by the player from their high altitude camera angle to start with, would explain the performance issues everyone is experiencing on both PC and PS5, the problem would be the models themselves being too highly detailed with tens of thousands of junk polygons that aren't needed

I bet if you guys reduced the polygon count by 150% in your models all the performance issues would go away overnight.
