Corrupted Nexus not completing

On the quest in endgame for completing a Tier 3+ corrupted nexus, I completed it with a Tier 9 waystone with the 4 modifiers as required.

The nodes around it are showing as cleansed and the nexus is no longer available, but the quest itself is not complete. It still says to complete a Tier 3+ nexus. If I need to do EXACTLY a Tier 3 map, then don't say "Tier 3+".

That waystone was expensive btw...:(

I got the same bug unfortunately and no response at all. I think you are out of luck for now and just need to retry. I was able to complete it second time and it worked correctly.

Same here, I tried a Tier 4 Waystone on a Corrupted Nexus without Map Boss and died. Second attempt was a Tier 7 Waystone (both with 4 modifiers so it's possible to open the nexus) and finished it killing all rare mobs. Nexus is gone and Quest is still there, also the nodes around the nexus are still corrupted.

I hope I have better luck at next Nexus I guess.

EDIT: On the next Nexus I completed the quest by killing the corrupted boss on a tier 9 waystone.

I've got the exact same Problem. Completed it with a T3, then a T5 and a T6 but still no update to the quest. I hope they rework this with the update. Makes me lose interest in mapping otherwise.

This is still happening in the latest patch. I finally found another nexus with the quest of "Complete a Tier15+ Corrupted Nexus". I completed it with a Tier 15 and it didn't work. The area around it is showing as cleared. Boss is dead. Map shows as completed. 0 monsters remain....Still didn't work.

Come on, GGG. Why wasn't this fixed in the recent update to endgame? Now I gotta go find another nexus and hope it actually works.
