My account was stolen

My friend noticed that the character logged into POE2, but I was in another game...

He visited my hideout, which was located in Hong Kong, and left the guild.

As soon as I accessed my game through Steam, my items, Deadeye, and resources were stolen.

I don't use the launcher to log in, just Steam, but he accessed through the launcher because he changed my account email and password. As soon as he was able to access it, I need to reset my email and password, since I use Steam to log in.

Help me, I lost about 200+ Divines worth of items.

You're going to be even sadder soon. Not only does GGG not return stolen items; but their account recovery process is a disaster takes months. (Most recent reports = from earlier this year - are a minimum of 4 email exchanges with 4-6 weeks between the.)

GGG immediately locks the account on a report of it being stolen; and junior support will quickly email you for more information. It's then handed off to an overworked senior person and everything goes off the rails.

Once you're at that point, do NOT send any extra emails asking about your status; the todo queue is sorted by most recent email received, not most recent not replied to. Which means any such inquiry sends you to the back of the line.
