Bugged relics in act 2 while in a party

Me and a friend were completing the quest, where you place the 2 relics to get the +1 charm slots and buff. Well it bugged out for him and he doesn't get the reward. He can't do the quest again so its just bricked for him. Same thing happened in 0.2, but not for me. So it must only happen in a party
