Bugg Mektul, the Forgemaster

The Treasures of Utzaal quest is apparently bugged. I've already killed the boss Mektul, the Forgemaster, four times. He should have dropped his weapon for me to turn in as a quest. But he never dropped it in all the times I've killed him, leaving the quest unfinished.
