Cross-Progression Issue: PS5 and Steam Accounts Not Linking Correctly
Hi,
I am currently playing Path of Exile 2 on PS5 and purchased the EA key there. Recently, I tried to link my Steam account for cross-progression, but it does not seem to be working properly. Here is my situation: On PS5 I can play normally with my characters. On Steam, when I log in, I only get a fresh empty account (numeric ID). The client on Steam even asks me to purchase another EA key, even though I already bought it on PS5. On the official website, I also don’t see the "Switch Account" option that other players mention in tutorials. In game on PS5, pressing R3 on the character select screen does not show any linked accounts. Basically, it feels like my Steam account is linked to a new empty account instead of my main PS5 account, so there is no cross-progression and no shared characters. I have already sent a ticket to GGG support, but I would like to ask here: Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Is there any temporary solution or workaround while waiting for support?
