Not usable with current weapon set settings
I have skill gems with "Not usable with current weapon set settings" icon and no interaction with them changes this. I can still use this skills. I do not understand why they are "not usable" if it is not. Seems like a bug. Skills set to ws 2.

I once fixed it by un- and reequiping my ring. But it doesn't work this time (and neither did any attributes change) |

currently experiencing the same issue now, swapped out my Thrillsteel helmet with Alpha's Howl and currently holding a guiding palm but all are within parameters. But then the skills are now saying that

For anyone running into this I found a way to "fix" the problem. It is indeed a bug from what I can tell.
The issue happened when I equipped an Amulet that took away 23 Dexterity but added 13 Strength and Intelligence. That put my character at 180 Dexterity however my bow only needed 163 Dexterity to use. That's why I was still able to shoot my bow and use all of my skills. So the bug has something to do with JUST the skill screen not accounting for a Dexterity increase from my gear. When I added some more Dexterity (by refunding passives) it all started working again. But... that's still a big problem when trying to tune your stats. I had enough Dexterity for my bow and I shouldn't need to add more just to fix the skill screen. So I did a little math to figure out what stat was being ignored but I couldn't find it. My bow's Dexterity requirement is 163. When my Dexterity is 185 then the skill screen is broken. When my Dexterity is at 190 then the skill screen works again. So basically +23-27 Dexterity is being ignored from somewhere. That must be the case because +5/-5 Dexterity is what fixes/breaks the skill screen. Looking at my gear I'm only getting Dexterity from two places. My Quiver provides +29 Dexterity. Then I have a ring that provides +13 to all attributes. I also have a passive skill node that provides 8% Dexterity. Everything else seems to be from small flat passive nodes. So it's not obvious what exactly is being ignored here. |
