Essence of the Abyss is not working at least with bows

Essence of the Abyss replaced T8 mod om my bow, but when I reveled it there were no mods to chose higher T8

I really hope this gets seen, I'm trying to do the same thing I removed a ilvl 81 T1 mod and my choices were:
lvl46 T5 Fire lvl75 T2 lightning lvl65 desc dmg in presence of companion mod This needs to be fixed, either the mechanic fixed or the wording clarified to how it actually works. |

" Essence of the Abyss does not interact with the tier of the removed mod. The mods offered will simply be one tier higher when revealed. |
