Corrupted Nexus

I am trying to complete Corrupted Nexus on the Atlas map. However, when I press A to select it to use a waystone, it does nothing. Doesn’t even open the panel to use a waystone. I even cleared every node around it. I still have the mission to clear tier 3+ corrupted nexus. I have a tier 3 and two tier 11 waystones all with 4 or more modifiers in my inventory as well. Even with all that I still can’t even select the Nexus in order to use the waystone.

I'm guessing it's not attached, even if it looks like it is. There's a blue icon when a map is ready to be run and there's visual/placement issues where paths may cross over a map, but not actually go to the map. So it's kind of a guessing game where the map actually connects if the Nexus is not lit up blue.
