PoE2 Excavation Map lock out

Long story short, I killed the boss in zone 1 of Excavation Map on Act4. He also killed me at the same time. When I respawned it glitch and the door did not open. Everytime I respawn at checkpoint or reset the map the boss does the jump up into the air to destroy the entrance of the next zone door and just vanishes. I am perma stuck as I can't advance through the door to the next zone as the story line requires. Map reset doesn't help.... Rip my witch.

I fixed it by creating a new instance.
