CANT USE ANY SPELL AFTER OPENING STRONGBOX

After opening a golden strongbox in a T8 map, I was no longer able to use any skills. The only thing that still worked was moving the character with the keyboard.
After a short time, I was dead. There was no way to escape except by closing the game, but unfortunately I realized that too late.
