how is this fun; i failed my nexus

So I failed my nexus; and its gone... we get not a lot of portals, maps seems big and slow, takes me a couple of hours to reach the nexus just to fail and find another one on a big ass map with no feeling of progression whatsoever, so I just have to grind thru this atlas without much atlas points, feels so bad, id rather just uninstall wait until maps get fixed or becomes fun at any point

mapping feels slow and unrewarding
