Map Mods feel samy
First off: I love that the curse mods are interesting now and can be dodged with good gameplay (but often aren't by me, I guess)
The prevalence of chilled ground and temporal chains really makes maps boring to me. This might be a build issue though, tbf. I find chilled ground (and ground effects from map mods) way too hard to avoid and placed too often with too little of a tell. They really feel like a stochastic disproportinate punishment. And sometimes cover most of the screen. I would love for fewer, larger, more easily discernable ground effects. When being in a delirium they are naught impossible to spot. In that very scenario the curses also degrade to being invisible. I think both need clearer, LOUDER, visual representation. Last bumped on Sep 13, 2025, 6:53:21 AM
