Can we take another look at soft/hard stun magnitude from enemies?

Even with stun threshold investment, the amount of stuns I've been experienced since it was buffed for mobs in 0.3 is so intense. Every little projectile and pebble thrown by enemies soft stuns your character and falters all actions you try to take. You can barely dodge roll out of the way without getting soft stunned a dozen times and swarmed by every piece of damage that hits you. Mobs throwing projectiles should not have the same global stun modifier as melee mobs. It is incredibly frustrating, especially at higher map tiers and pack size.

This is just another reason why 40% to 50% of people on poeninja at level 90 are playing deadeye. This entire league has been extremely unfriendly to melee players and this constant soft stun effect only exacerbates this issue. It just makes more sense to play ranged classes.

Fixing this issue wouldn't even require a major patch, it could be a simple number adjustment released in a hotfix.

Hmm. Warrior usually have the easiest time with stuns. Strength usually give you a ton of life, plus you have block. You probably just need to upgrade your gear some.

Gear is fine, and I'm not playing warrior.
As a bloodmage I am kind of pseudo melee since I have to go into melee range to collect all the remnants.

It is even worse for me since I cannot go deep into strength, not to talk about all the degen stuff the abyss monster are spawning

Interesting. I haven't played a BM yet, but since stun threshold is scaled off life, and I assume a BM would be stacking life, that this wouldn't be so bad for that class. I'm playing hybrid EV/ES on an invoker. Currently at around 2300 stun threshold by scaling some of it from ES, and I am constantly getting soft stunned by every little mob flinging a piece of poop across the screen. Large quill/porcupine mobs have me holding my breath in narrow corridors xD

Even worse: The charm that should prevent you from getting stunned doesn't help for that. You get stunned out of your attack animations even with the charm proccing. The charm just gets you out of the stun faster but it doesn't prevent it in the first place.

I mean, yes, you would like to stack life....but with what? I have life on every gear piece where it is possible, but I am around 2.3k hp. Oh, and casting my main spell costs me 709 life.

Yes, this build kind of works to clear T15 maps consistently, but fighting against Abyss monster feels horrible. And of course, getting often stunned by white mobs.
yeah the constant stunning from the abyss mobs has taken me out of the game. i can roll through maps pretty consistently with little issues but as soon as those abyss rares show up, insta stun and blown up.. its not even fun anymore.
