I have split this post into 2 sections, important fixes and suggestions for improving ui. I know some things can break imersion and view of the game so I tried to not include such ones. Here is list that would make players experiance much much better over all.
Things that should be fixed:
- Hp bar for big bosses it too big. Give us some compact UI options
- Big bosses sometimes are combined with rare monsters, now we got 2 giant bars and each of them has bufs debufs, modifiers, sometimes it is over 1/4 of 1080p screen, way too much obstruction
- Order of affixes. Why does it change while holding alt key? (am I only one who is annoyed by this? :P )
- Disabling local chat does not hide NPC green wall of text
(maybe option "Output dialogues to chat" does not work correctly, I have it always set to off)
- Why is game unpausing when enabling options?
Things that will improve experiance:
- Expedition NPC shop: currency numbers of artifacts should also include artifacts stored in stash(it only shows current items in eq)
- Abbys desecration should show tiers during selection
- Flasks could show number on them how many times can you drink them (just like charms)
- Big map overlay is not readable (option for dark overlay would show map contours a bit better, or make lines in 2 colors, white is not always visible)
- Optional indicator when character takes dmg (small solid red border around screen for hits, and smooth fading wider border line when taking damage over time)
- Recombinator should also show total shards
- Item window is a bit too transparent, it is readable but its tiring in long term
- Drag and drop items into stash tab list to instantly put them into selected tab, without need to open them
- Chat has no background, its hard to read
- Waystone Tiers are from 1 to X? Why not from 65 to 100? (I mean only base levels, without modifiers)
Things that will improve experiance but are less mandatory
- Animation of affix changes (small thing, maybe not super easy to make, but glowing text after new affix was added would help)
On second thought, there could be local crafting chat. It would say which mod was removed / added, or what happened during corruption. This will help people learn new mechanics and also improve learning new mechanics added later in the game.
- Allow to chat during paused game(this would be very conveniant)
- Highlight self messages in global chat to see it easier
- End game world could use some highlighting
- All items in backpack/stash have same background, make colors match rarity, or something
