Why was Corpsewade builds killed completely?
I build my own Corpsewade build in 0.1 and it was performing too good, this is facts.
I skipped 0.2 because what ever. Why in the love of God everything and anything regarding the item/skill was nerfed to the ground? I'm not kidding, you cannot play with Corpsewade making it the main skill, it just don't kill anything anymore/have sustainability. We've seen this same phenomenon happen with poe1. e.g when Archmage was killed for multiple leagues. Tangent, Why do we have raise spectre skill in the game? We have 3-5 minions that are viable and everything else is garbage. You literally cannot use 99% of spectreable monsters because they don't perform. If anyone in the team sees this, please speak up and use this post as starter, or watch Ghazzys vod EU time 12/09 and see how 99% of spectres are shit. Last bumped on Sep 12, 2025, 5:50:54 PM

i don't get why those boots were not removed to be 'reintroduced' later. they even bug out and don't detonate corpses, at all. its just going to cause frustration

I have found that they seem to want cookie cutter builds. Nerf the masses... keep a few builds.. Keep a few minions that are viable.
I didn't see Mana costs brought down on everything. 500+ mana for a chaos bolt with 3 supports... (MoM - Plus 3 items to reduce the mana costs) Feels like some balancing needs done. I honestly think there is far LESS customization in POE2 than POE1... 6-links on everything were supposed to allow for more customized builds. By regulating so much... they are essentially allowing only a few minions to be good. Instead... there should be more supports, more damage, more ways to customize minions. Maybe there would be one or two insane minion builds... but this would still encourage people to find ways to make some new minion builds.... Could you imagine a shock build that uses minions? Could you imagine a build that stacks 10 poisons - Which minions could scale damage on per poison stack? Could you imagine minions that can actually use chain supports on projectiles instead of forking and shot-gunning everything.. Same said for Spell projectile builds. Just doesn't feel any better than 8 moths ago. |
